The story of Brijwasi Brothers began more than eight decades ago, when Shri Ramanlalji came to Mumbai in the mid‑1900s carrying little more than determination, resilience, and the flavours of his roots.
Life in a new city came with its share of struggles. Through hard work, experience, and a deep understanding of the food business, he gradually found his footing. What began as a humble journey eventually grew into Brijwasi Brothers — a name built on honest food, traditional recipes, and the belief that good taste should never lose its connection to where it comes from.
At the heart of Brijwasi Brothers has always been Brij. The recipes, flavours and techniques passed down through the generations were shaped by the rich culinary traditions of Mathura and Braj.
Even as the business grew in Mumbai, this connection remained at the centre of everything we made. Generations of the family worked to preserve those familiar flavours while introducing them to an ever‑growing community of customers.

But for us, growth has never meant leaving tradition behind. Our recipes have travelled through generations, our methods have evolved with time, and our offerings have grown — but the essence of Brijwasi remains deeply connected to its roots. Now, with the fourth generation of the family joining the business, Brijwasi Brothers enters a new chapter. The responsibility is greater than simply carrying forward a family name. It is about protecting a legacy built over decades while giving it the vision, innovation and ambition required for the future.
